ACM（Atmospheric Corrosion Monitor）Type Corrosion sensors are invented by Professor Tsujikawa of the University of Tokyo, Director of NIMS Shinohara Director, Professor Motada.
It is a sensor that can directly measure corrosion current of metal electrochemically generated by environmental factors.
As an atmospheric corrosion sensor, it is a corrosion monitoring sensor used in many industrial fields such as material manufacturer, mobility, infrastructure.
ACM type corrosion sensors are currently mainly used for atmospheric corrosion, but recently applications of stress corrosion cracks as specimens have also been studied.
